The Proverbs 31 Woman was in Real Estate?

Yup! You heard it here first! The Proverbs 31 Woman was in Real Estate! Well, maybe she didn't work for Century 21 or Keller-Williams, but she did have experience in the business. Proverbs 31:16 says, "She considers a field and buys it..." Get it - she considers a field - that's the real estate!! What intrigued me about this verse is not so much her buying a field but that she "considers" the field BEFORE she buys it. The definition of "considers" means to: reflect on something, weigh possibilities before deciding, look carfefully at something. This wise woman chooses to weigh the possibilities before deciding on this purchase. She looks carefully at it. Why? Because she realizes that it is not her money she is dealing with. First off, it's the LORD's, secondly, it's her families. Hats off to her for understanding the importance of "considering" before purchasing. Sound familiar? That's what we are doing. Even right now, reading Heather's blog, your "considering". Considering where to shop, how to shop, how to spend, what coupons to use. Maybe you didn't know just how much you mirrored the Proverbs 31 Woman, but you do. So what if she "considered" a field, and you are "considering" toothpaste. It all has the same roots and I say "Great Job and Keep up the Real Estate!"
